Info: Some paintings from the rich historical and contemporary art collection of the Amsterdam Museum are highlighted that have a special connection with Amsterdam. These objects will be shown via a projector on a screen at the Zuiderkerk, supported by wonderful stories and exciting music by composers that connect these themes.
A fascinating evening; music, images, and stories about the past, present, and future come together as in one work of art.
Miniatures with Amsterdam Museum
The exact program is still a surprise, but just to give you a glimps on what is to come;
artworks will be shown by Rembrandt van Rijn, Jan de Beijer and Maaike Schoorel, among others, framed by compositions by Maurice Ravel and Bram Kortekaas duos for violin and cello, Granville Bantock - Hambdil for cello and harp and by Franz Doppler de Nocture for flute , violin cello and harp.
