Pamela Smits besloot al op jonge leeftijd dicht bij haar muzikale bezieling te blijven -zo nam zij ondanks successen slechts enkel malen deel aan concoursen, hier geen groot fan van zijnde- en is haar eigen plaats aan het verwerven in de muziekwereld, door niet de gebaande wegen
te volgen, maar haar eigen weg te bewandelen.
